Steve Burns

This guy plays psychedelic indie pop now. Yes, I'm serious. He quit Blue's Clues because he heard The Flaming Lips' album The Soft Bulletin at a party and was immediately inspired to become a musician. Then he got help from Flaming Lips members to put together his debut album Songs for Dust Mites. Steve Drozd (drummer) assisted with arranging, Michael Ivins (bassist) engineered it, and David Friddman (usual Lips' producer) produced it. It's the most inspiring story I've ever heard. He has a new EP coming out soon called Deep Sea Recovery Efforts, which I hope to purchase.

Edit by Bugger: Just got Deep Sea Recovery Efforts and it's awesome.
